Born in Los Cerrillos (Uruguay). Since 1992 he is a degree in Instrumental Performance (Guitar) by the University School of Music in Montevideo (Uruguay), where he studied with teachers Atilio Rapat, Krishna Salinas, Eduardo Fernandez and Ramiro Agriel.
Later in Barcelona (Spain) in 1993 he graduated as a Superior Professor of Guitar also obtain the teaching certificate at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 1995.

He has completed several courses with teachers: Oscar Ohlsen (interpretation of early music) and Mary Elizabeth Siewers Los Cocos (Córdoba – Argentina) in 1987; Betho Davezac in Montevideo in 1987; Horacio Ceballos, Miguel Angel Girolet and Eduardo Isaac in the “Palestrina Music Faculty of Porto Alegre” (Brazil) in 1988 and Alvaro Pierri at the “First International Guitar Seminar of Montevideo” in 1990.

In Barcelona participates in courses conducted by José Tomás, David Russell, Eduardo Falu (1994 – 1995) and Alvaro Pierri in 1998.

Winner of several awards,

– Guitarrístico Center (Uruguay 1987).
– Scholarship to study at the University of Music Palestrina of Porto Alegre in 1988.
– Scholarship in AEMUS (Association of music students Montevideo) in 1988.
– Musical Youth (Uruguay 1988).
– First prize of “Espetial Competition for instrumentalists” sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Montevideo 1988.
– Art x art music CD Prize: The beat of the song Gerardo Molina (Rosario, Argentina), June 2005.

He has also developed an intense activity as a teacher in Uruguay and Spain and as a concert guitarist, performing among other countries, in different cities of Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France, Belgium and USA.
Besides acting soloist, so does frequently in chamber groups and accompanying singers, both classical and popular repertoire, currently maintaining permanently concert performances and festivals.

As a soloist he has recorded for the label Gemecs and independent productions, a varied repertoire ranging from Renaissance to contemporary times.
In 2015 he recorded with his own record label the CD “Spanish Guitar” with the Duo Aranjuez (duo integrates with Paul Despeyroux) and the CD “Vihuela and Guitar Recital” as soloist, which was recorded in the Auditorium Pau Casals Sant Salvador – El Vendrell – Spain.

Besides vihuela and guitar player, he is also a composer, arranger and producer.
He has collaborated on recordings with various artists of pop music and the poet Gerardo Molina (Uruguay) shares two CD’s, one of which (The beat of the song) received art x art prize in music CD: The beat of the song Gerardo Molina (Rosario, Argentina) in June 2005.

In concert playing a vihuela made by luthier James Bosser (Barcelona – Spain) and a guitar made by luthier Paco Marín (Granada – Spain).
